A group of like-minded people, from different walks of life, have launched an online counselling platform to help tipplers and alcoholics.

The group, consisting of social workers and media professionals, launched a nationwide online counselling platform for alcoholics, who have been facing a tough time, due to the unavailability of alcohol, since the lockdown was clamped. Ecolink Recovery Online, a Mangaluru-based online therapeutic group, in cooperation with local web portals and TV channels, have initiated a national opinion survey in this regard, which is accompanied by online counselling for alcoholics.

 A Mangaluru-based NGO that promotes ecological and mental health has launched an online counseling platform with therapists and counselors spread all over India.

The online portal, “AutumnMind.com,” an initiative of the Ecolink Institute of Well-being of Mangaluru, was opened on May 27 by Veerendra Heggade of Dharmasthala, through a Zoom Conference.

Launching the website through an Online message in a Zoom Conference attended by its therapists and Counsellors from all over India, Veerendra Heggade said Online Counselling is relevant at present situations and its services can easily accessible to beneficiaries.
